During the Covid-19 Pandemic Under the Directive of the Ministry of Education and Culture, Indonesia Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO), which has undergraduate and postgraduate programs based on the permission and approval from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia no: 248/DIKTI/KEP/1992 is hereby announced to foreign students who are studying/newly accepting/planning to study at Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO) as follows:
By the Directive of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture Number: 347/E/E3/KM/2020 dated April 9″, 2020 for the subject “Management of Foreign Student Services During the Covid-19 Pandemic” as follows:
(1) TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF APPLICATION FOR STUDY PERMITS AND STUDENT VISA. The processing of study permits and student visas under the Directorate of Institutions, Directorate General of Higher Education for newly accepted Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO) foreign students during the Covid-19 Pandemic CANNOT be served under the Regulation of the Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 11 of 2020 concerning “Temporary Prohibition Foreigners from Entering the Territory of the Republic of Indonesia”. Therefore, the arrival of new foreign students to Indonesia will be postponed until the situation in Indonesia is safe and foreign students are allowed to enter.
(2) ALL FACE-TO-FACE CLASSES HAVE CONVERTED TO ONLINE CLASSES. All universities have been instructed to maximize the online media learning mode in carrying out the learning process for current/newly accepted/planned overseas students by the Circular (SE) of the Minister of Education and Culture No: 36962/MPK.A/HK/2020 dated March 17, 2020 on “Online Learning and Working from Home” to prevent the spread of Covid.19 until the situation is officially declared safe. Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO) must comply with the Government’s directive to actively prevent the spread of Covid-19, especially in the campus environment, and ensure that overseas students understand the developing situation and comply with the measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19 implemented by Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO). In this case, the courses for both foreign students and local students will be carried out entirely online until further notice Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO) will resume back to face-to-face study learning mode until the official declaration of the permissibility of foreign students to enter the Republic of Indonesia. It is the responsibility of Sekolah Tinggi llmu Ekonomi Gotong Royong (STIE GORO) as guarantor to make sure that all foreign students are in good health.
